Overview

Manage a syndicated/bilateral loan portfolio supporting the Commodity and Supply Chain Finance departments in the Agency & Special Products Services Department in the Middle/Back Office. Support a portfolio of loans, ability to read and interpret loan notices, support software processes, has an understanding of Loan IQ, strong with Excel spreadsheets, and can communicate via telephone with a variety of people including customers, banks, and client executives.

 

Qualifications

Operational Abilities

  • Ability to interpret credit agreements and related documentation
  • Experienced in all varieties of loan servicing including agency services and funding responsibilities
  • Can manage a deal portfolio of 80-100 facilities
  • Follows instructions very well; detail-oriented
  • Understands all aspects of deal/loan administration functions and tasks

Loan IQ Knowledge

  • Direct working knowledge of LIQ, specifically in the area of loan administration
  • Able to trouble-shoot basic LIQ functional problems/issues
  • Basic knowledge of general ledger account structure and LIQ sub-ledger accounts
  • Working knowledge of Ad-Hoc Query and Ticklers

Experience/Abilities

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in loan administration
  • Understanding of commodity and supply chain finance transaction servicing
  • Highly organized approach in meeting job requirements
  • Follows instructions very well; detail-oriented
  • Team-oriented; willingness back-up and cross-train on all departmental functions
  • Communicates well orally and in writing
  • Experienced in effective communication with external and internal customers; has experience interfacing with agent banks, relationship managers and treasury personnel

Education

  • Four-year college degree; or equivalent experience and training, with a minimum of 2-3 years in banking

Computer Skills

  • Strong or expert knowledge of LIQ 
  • Strong or expert knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
