The U.S. Corporate Banking unit offers a suite of financial products and services to large clients. The Transportation and Services group has a diversified portfolio of commitments encompassing numerous segments including autos, retail, engineering & construction, and environmental services. The Group is seeking an experienced Analyst to support senior team members in the Los Angeles office in analyzing and executing transactions for clients.




The successful candidate will play a role in all aspects of executing corporate finance transactions and developing strategic dialogue with clients. The Analyst’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Build and maintain financial models to perform analysis under different scenarios using input from public and private sources
  • Participate in day-to-day deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, client management teams and other advisors
  • Monitor and evaluate current events related to the relevant industries, various sub-sectors and existing and prospective clients
  • Manage due diligence processes, including tracking and coordinating the information flow, and reviewing and analyzing company information
  • Prepare credit applications, borrower rating applications, annual/quarterly client reviews, and other related analytical tasks required for the internal approval of credit
  • Support the administrative activities of executing transactions such as coordinating or organizing legal documentation, KYC, and covenants reporting
  • Create client presentations, perform compliance/KYC reviews and misc projects/reports as needed





  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills, including DCF, LBO, trading comparables, precedent transactions and three-statement models
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, and experience analyzing company financials
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects
  • Excellent technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Qualities - self initiative, flexibility, ability to prioritize and possess a positive attitude
  • Must be a team player


  • 1-2 years of experience at the analyst level in an investment or corporate banking group
  • Credit trained in corporate analysis is desired
