The Regional Sales Manager acts in the role of identifying prospects for the finance/lease products and closing the sale of the opportunities identified for the Machine Tools business unit of SMFL. This role will specifically support a major Machine Tool Program Partner to SMFL.
Responsible for bringing in new volume to SMFL-NY to achieve the fiscal year targets
Provide overall sales support to our Program Partner
Develop leads through calls, emails and networking within a designating territory
Identify opportunities that fit the business model/scheme, formulate a proposal and close the business
Communicate quotes and written proposals
Negotiate terms consistent with SMFL policy and procedures in order to effectively close business deals
Strong communication skills
Expert negotiation and pricing skills
Proficiency in Tvalue, SuperTRUMP, or similar pricing products.
Solid understanding of underwriting requirements for Banks and Leasing companies in the Middle Market
Knowledge and understanding of tax, accounting, credit, legal and documentation issues in connection with the Machine Tool equipment finance market
Strong presentation skills
Machine Tool industry knowledge.
Knowledgeable with Credit Scoring- Paynet, D&B
Greater than 7 years Sales Experience
Experience in equipment leasing and finance industry with a focus on Machine Tools
