SMBC is seeking an temporary employee to joing our as Project Manager, will be responsible for the data integrity related to the MAF conversion to the Broadridge (Credit Master) system.This will include liasing with the vendor, Front Office, Accounting, and Operations on all issues that arise.
This position will ensure that the flow of trades into Credit Master system is accurate and all data points in the system is set up correctly and reports are in agreement to the legacy system.
Develop and update Policies & Procedures for MAF related to the conversion.
Analyze and test new system enhancements as they are dictated by Operations staff.
Coordinate with the IT team on all system enhancements.
Ensure that the Front Desk is aware of the status oo all enhancements, and keep track of all responses and follow-thru.
Job location will be in White Plains.
5+ years Knowledge of back-office system functions
-Working knowledge of Fixed Income/Money Market products
-Ability to identify problems as they arise and prioritize what needs to be escalated.
-Detailed, thorough, and efficient with good analytical skills, a customer service mindset and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
- Ability to multi task and work in a team environment and flexible to changes and challenges
- Familiarity with Excel and Word.
