  • Overview

    Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is seeking an Business Control Analyst to provide support in the development of the bank’s KYC system. This position will offer the candidate growth opportunities within the department as it continues to expand its scope of responsibility. The candidate will support the VP heading the KYC/CIF IT Application Support. There is a requirement for project management skills, a pro-active attitude and a team player.




    Responsibilities include:
    Testing of KYC/CIF system resulting from upgrades or enhancements.

    Analyze, Test and Implement new functionality.
    Develop and maintain User Guides, FAQs and other user support tools.
    Liaison to IT and application representative.
    Troubleshooting functional or technical problems.
    Provide support to ACG, RMs and other user groups.
    Provide training for KYC/CIF functionality.
    Project coordination and task management
    Cognos Reporting support and creation.

    Strong analytical skills


    Four-year college degree, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in financial institutions 
    Communicates well orally and in writing
    Experience in KYC processing
    Experience in user testing of system


    Overtime may be required to meet deadlines, support systems issues or complete project tasks. Successful candidate will be able to prioritize workload, work under tight deadlines, and work effectively with User community.
