SMBC is seeking a long term temporary employee ( limited duration) who will be responsible for the opening of new accounts in various trading systems. Collaborate with Middle Office, and the Settlements group to ensure proper workflow.
Set up client accounts in the various back-office systems, Impact and NextX360. This includes setting up client data including multiple delivery instructions.
Work closely with Middle Office to establish the new accounts.
Assist Settlements group in clearing up trade discrepancies by contacting the clients.
Store and maintain client documentation along with requests and approvals, related to account set-up
Batch related confirmations into one e-mail.
Deliver mail to the various Nikko America departments.
Assist the Operations team with ad-hoc requests
Detailed, thorough, and efficient with good analytical skills, a customer service mindset and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
Ability to multi task and work in a team environment and flexible to changes and challenges
Familiarity with Excel and Word.
